Jack: My dad goes to work and collects golf balls for me.
Jack: My dad is farty!
Jack: My dad used to be a statue!

Charlotte's First Hair Cut

My parents and I took Charlotte to the salon for her first hair cut. She was very good and sat on my lap while getting her new do. The stylist gave her bangs, trimmed the back, and gave her some layers.

Surprise visit to Florida!
While we were in Virginia visiting my family, we took a weekend trip to Florida to see my grandparents. Jack, Charlotte and I surprised my grandparents who had no idea we were coming along. It was a wonderful visit and so special to have everyone together.

Visit to VA!
We made our annual trek to Virginia for two weeks on June 1. It was a fun and action packed visit, and I know my parents are sleeping and cleaning more than usual now that we are gone! We spent a lot of time outside in the yard, at the pool, and playing with neighbors. Jack and Charlotte love their sweet little cousin Noah. They even have the scars to prove it! ;) By Thanksgiving they'll have another little cousin to play with! Two days were spent at Kelly's house, which was SO FUN because all me and Kelly did was talk for hours while our kids played. We even managed a surprise visit to my grandparents in Florida for the weekend. We are back home now and recovering from all of the excitement.
Jack and my dad worked on lots of manly things together. Here they are building a bird feeder. They'll have to finish it next year...here is Jack cutting a piece of wood.
