Jack is growing up

My 6-year-old lost his first tooth yesterday! This has been an exciting week for him - his birthday and then a lost tooth. He is really growing up! For Jack's birthday on the 25th, Rich and I took him out on a special date night. He chose Pei Wei and then Target to pick out a present. Afterward, we went to Chief and Grandma's for cake. Jack and Charlotte got to spend the night there. It was very fun for everyone. The next day, Jack told me his tooth hurt. Sure enough, it came out right before school! The tooth fairy came last night and brought him $2.

Happy Birthday Lucas!

Lucas's first birthday was on October 11. Since he was sick on his birthday, we celebrated a week later. We are so proud of him. He is such a sweet and happy baby boy. The first year with him has been a true blessing and we look forward to getting to see him grow. So far he has 8 teeth with 4 more coming in right now, he can walk, and say mama and dada. He loves his brother and sister, and gets lots of attention and love. He likes all foods but his favorite is probably bananas, and of course he loves to lick Jack and Charlotte's popsicles. He enjoys riding on his bike and playing with cars or anything with wheels. He sleeps all night but does not like naps. His favorite thing to do is to knock over towers that Daddy builds with blocks and to jump off the ledge in the family room. He's definitely all boy and I'm nervous about what's next, if he's anything like Jack!
