Last night we went to the annual Carefree Christmas Festival with my parents. For the last few years our tradition has been to see Santa, and then ride the "fake snow" slide and jump in the bounce houses. Last year, Santa left a sign that said "be back soon" but he never came back. So this year, we were the first in line to see him! Later on, Charlotte finally braved the snow slide (she's also afraid of Santa). The look on her face in this picture is priceless! After a first terrifying run alone, she rode with her big brother Jack and loved it, then asked to do it again! Jack was a pro on the slide. He had a long conversation with Santa and even went shopping with some of his tooth fairy money. Lucas didn't seem to know what was going on but enjoyed the ride.
